K-CULTURE
EXPO

In September 2026, the Independence Hall of Korea will be filled with the vibrant waves of K-Culture. The Cheonan K-Culture Expo returns to connect the roots and the future of the Korean Wave, loved worldwide. Running from September 2–6, this expo showcases everything from traditional culture infused with our heritage, K-SOUL, to the latest K-content trends. Come and experience the pride of Korean culture at this high-energy, five-day festival at the Independence Hall of Korea.

Why is it held at the Independence Hall of Korea?

The Independence Hall of Korea is a space that embodies the spirit and culture of the nation, built through public donations. It is a symbol of K-SPIRIT and Korean cultural identity. Just as the spirit of the March First Independence Movement has spread across the world, K-Culture now carries Korea’s heritage and values to a global audience.

Vision and Mission
Vision. Establishing a globally acclaimed 'New Korean Wave'

At the Independence Hall of Korea, we aim to shed new light on Korea’s cultural heritage and everyday life, while building the foundation for a next-generation cultural expo where visitors can experience and learn about the technologies and creative industries shaping the future of the Korean Wave.

Mission. To become Korea’s leading K-culture tourism expo

By combining the energy of youth culture with strong transport accessibility, Cheonan will grow into a key hub of the new Korean Wave and establish itself as Korea’s premier K-culture tourism festival.
